QA Automation Salaries in the City of Gold
The salary landscape for Quality Assurance in Dubai is sharply divided. While manual testing roles are increasingly outsourced or underpaid, Automation Engineers (SDETs) command excellent, tax-free salaries due to their ability to accelerate release cycles for massive consumer apps.

The "SDET & Infrastructure" Premium
If you only know how to click through a UI and report bugs manually, your salary will cap out around 140,000 AED. To push past 300,000 AED, you must become an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test). If you can build a custom testing framework from scratch, write mock backend servers for testing, and integrate everything seamlessly into a Kubernetes CI/CD pipeline, you transition into a highly paid engineering role.
