HCL clients want fully automated cloud environments. Therefore, expertise in Terraform (for infrastructure provisioning) and Ansible (for configuration management) is highly lucrative. An engineer who can write complex Terraform modules to spin up entire AWS VPCs from scratch is billed at a higher rate than an engineer who uses the AWS Management Console manually.
3. Cloud Provider Certifications
While tools are important, validating your knowledge with cloud certifications gives HR the justification to offer a higher CTC.
