Cloud Architect Salaries in Europe's Startup Capital
Cloud Architects sit at the top of the IT hierarchy in Berlin. Because they are responsible for designing the infrastructure that powers billion-euro E-commerce platforms and highly regulated FinTechs, their salaries are exceptional compared to the local cost of living.

The "Multi-Cloud & GDPR Compliance" Premium
If you are only certified in one cloud and design standard web hosting architectures, you will cap out around €100,000. To push past €140,000, you must master Multi-Cloud Strategies and Strict Data Compliance. If you can design hybrid architectures that allow a FinTech to leverage AWS machine learning tools while strictly keeping all PII (Personally Identifiable Information) on secure German data centers, you become one of the most elite technologists in Berlin.
