The "Generative AI & Edge" Premium
If you only know how to train standard classification models, your salary will cap out around €95,000. To push past €160,000, you must master Generative AI architectures (RAG) or Edge Deployment (C++/TensorRT). If you can securely fine-tune open-source LLMs on proprietary enterprise data and deploy it as an on-premise AI assistant (ensuring GDPR compliance), you become one of the most elite and highly compensated technologists in Germany.
